Education

ACTING FOR THE STAGE
Whether you are a beginner or someone who had done a lot of acting for your age you will learn a lot from Elizabeth Davis, who is a NYC based professional actor who has worked on and off-Broadway, as well as regionally.
(She recently closed the show 39 Steps on Broadway.) Elizabeth is experienced in both straight plays and musical theater, and has her MFA in acting from Ohio State. She recently won the Outstanding Female Actor New York Innovative Theater Award for her performance in Firebone Theatre's production of EMILY.
Classes will run July 23-29 (excepting Sunday). Cost is $475

AUDITIONING
If you are interested in developing some strong audition pieces for either professional or community auditions, this class will help you do it. Taught by either Elizabeth Davis (see above) or Josh Peterson, Associate Artistic Director of Firebone Theater, by the end of this class you will be armed with the tools to do you best at every audition.
July 23-29. Cost $475

PLAYWRIGHTING
Whether you nave written plays before or not, this class will provide you with the basics to get started or to hone the skills you have already developed. You will write several short plays in this class and develop them with feedback from your class mates and teacher, Chris Cragin. (Emerging Writers Group Alumni at The Public Theater, O'Neill Music Theater Conference book-writer.) Finally, you will choose one play to showcase to your friends and family for an open reading at the end of the week.
Dates July 11-16th 10am to 2pm, Cost is $475
